Yoga School

200 hour yoga teacher training

Yoga School is a 200 hour Yoga Teacher training and self-development program designed just for you.

A unique program that evolves as you evolve.  The program takes place over the course of seven months.  Allowing lots of time for you to digest and integrate the material into your practice and your life. In the program, you will learn the ins and outs of the classic Hatha yoga tradition, as well as how to intelligently and creatively sequence the postures together using the system of wise progression, Vinyasa Krama.

This will be rooted in yoga, informed by Pilates and inspired by the energy body.

INSPIRATION

I'd like to teach you the tools to continue on a path of self-discovery. To receive some sort of insight into your own world, the yoga world and the world around you. To be inspired to keep on learning. To be infused with enough passion and curiosity to continue to ask questions - to continue to brush up against the edge of challenge in order to grow.

COURAGE

I want you to leave the training with enough know-how and courage to share what you've learned with others. Not necessarily in a class setting (although you will be prepared for that), but to share it with your partner, your family, co-workers and friends and community. To embrace the practice with such openness that it seeps into your cells and oozes out in the way you speak, think and behave.

I want this to ignite change. Not just to become a yoga teacher, but to truly embrace a yogic lifestyle. One filled with more compassion, ease and grace.

Love Note

"Shawna’s passion for the history of yoga is infectious; her storytelling will engulf you and completely reframe how you think about yoga. Her approach to anatomy is incredibly disciplined, ensuring that you have all the tools you need to lead a safe and intelligent class and self-practice. She fuses all facets of yoga into one beautiful bouquet of inspiration. The space she holds creates a welcoming and supportive community."
